The graph below shows the number of tourists visiting a particular Caribbean island between 2010 and 2017.

The line chart illustrates how many tourists visiting a certain island in the Caribbean during the 7-year period from 2010. Overall, there was significant growth in visitors staying on ships, on the island, and in total.

The early 2010s witnessed a stable amount of over a half million people who preferred to stay on the island, and the number of tourists in this category increased steadily and stood at 1.5 million before it remains constant until 2015. Afterward, there was a slight decrease in 2016 but it was returned in the following year.

Although there was a fluctuation in tourists staying on cruise ships from 2010 to 2013, at roughly under a half of millions of people, followed by a considerable increase and stood at 2 million visitors in 2017.  However, the total number of tourists visiting the Caribbean island developed gradually from 2010 to 2015. Due to the fact that the slight decline in tourists staying on the island in 2015-2016, the total number of people stayed the same during this period, before it reached a peak of 3.5 million tourists at the end of the period.
