Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The maps illustrate the developments occurred at the coastal resort of Templeton in over the early decade of the twenty-first century.
It is clear that the resort was a much greener residential area with a wide range of trees and individual houses, yet during the next 13 years Templeton witnessed a variety of dramatic changes. The most noticeable is that all of the plants to the East of the river were chopped down, with all the houses near the seaside being demolished and made way for the new railway connecting two areas. Especially, for the ferry built in the South East of area, the several coastal homes were moved to the North. Furthermore, while the land estate with blocks of flats sprang up around the new supermarket constructed in the center of the West area, the industrial estate was established in the opposite. There are only a few trees remained in the more residential area.
Overall, a comparison of the two maps reveals some remarkable changes from a largely rural to a mainly urban landscape.
