Motivation letter for applying scholarship

Dear Sirs,

My  name  is  Nguyen  Le  Anh.  I  am  twenty-two  years  old  and  have  just graduated in physics at Ho Chi Minh City University of Pedagogy.

I  like  natural  sciences  very  much  and  I  chose  Physics  to  study  in  the university.  When  I  was  a  child,  I  was  curious  about  natural  phenomena  and  I always tried to explain it. In high school, I usually get high scores at Physics and I have a big dream to do some research in physics at a well-known Physics Institute in  the  world.  I  am  interested  in  theoretical  physics,  mathematical  physics.  I  am presently working on the interaction of a molecule with laser field.
My thesis subject is “Nuclear dynamics of the ionised Hydrogen molecule in  an  intense  laser  field”.  I  calculated  inter-nuclear  distance  of  hydrogen  ion  by solving  Schrodinger  equation  and  also  confirmed  that  inter-nuclear  distance depends  on  intensity,  wavelength,  cycles  of  laser.  In  my  thesis  I  mainly  use  the imaginary  time  method  and  the  operator  splitting  method  to  solve  Schrodinger equation by computer simulation.

I fortunately met Amaury Mouchet Professor in physics at the Laboratory of Mathematics  and  Theoretical  Physics  (LMPT,  Tours),  who  presented  us  The Master of Fundamental Physics of the University F. Rabelais (Tours). I think this is a chance to approach areas of physics better, such as particle physics, general relativity, cosmology, propagation of waves in complex media, especially quantum physics that I am interested in. M. Mouchet talked about some researches groups in his  university,  and  after  having  been  interviewed  by  him,  I  am  convinced  that  I want  to  participate  in  research  projects  of  these  groups.  I  also  love  France,  a beautiful country in the world and the educational system is good for a student.

After having finished the Master of Fundamental Physics, I would like to continue to study and to do some research in France for a PhD. Then I will come back Vietnam to work at my university. I will introduce Vietnamese students about University of Tours. I think this is a good cooperation between  Ho Chi Minh City University  of  Pedagogy  and  University  of  Tours.  I  would  like  to  apply  for  this Master. I believe this is one of marked milestone in my learning journey to turn my
dream come true.
